When considering ideas for print designs - there is a book you may want to take a leaf from.
The university of North Texas has a lovely sub-web site on pop-up books from the early 1800s to the present day.
The use of die cuts and folds as seen in these books also create memorable print material for your organisation.
While cost may be a consideration for the more complex structures, using folding pop-ups and interesting shapes have the advantage of being able to be folded flat for posting.
