Monkey Business

Caught Cadbury's new advertisement last night:

Turns out that even ole Phil's was a knockoff of the original:



It looks like Cadbury's Australian agency's laziness has poisoned what was an entertaining advertisement with a rather neat execution of animatronics.

Ironic really, since the advertisement was part of a UK campaign to repair the reputation of the glass-and-a-halfers which had poisoned people for real.

So why do it? After all, we Aussies do have access to 'teh intertubes' and know a viral campaign when we see one. Why recycle unless you're going to do more than recut footage? Surely Australians aren't that parochial?

Finally, do you know what they call people who hang around with musicians?
