Figures from a couple of years ago showed that the English were spending more time online than they were watching television and now it seems the Australians are following the same trend:
Australians appear to be deserting free to air TV by spending an equal amount of time watching free to air TV as they are surfing the Internet. They are also spending more time than ever before watching DVDs & listening to CDs and MP3 music at home, according to the latest research from GfK, which was presented at its national conference in Sydney last week.
It’s well worth spending time taking a look at the advertising opportunities available – perhaps even coming to an agreement directly with fan or hobbyist web sites and blogs that cater to your product or service.
